Frequently Asked Questions

What is EPublishing?

EPublishing (Electronic Publishing) is a natural extension of the traditional press publishing. The pictures or drawings and text that form a story are displayed on a computer monitor, on a TV set, or an eBook (an appliance specifically designed for viewing electronic books).
Why is EPublishing important?
Published works are made available to people of all ages around the world. Authors and publishers are not limited by length of the work, the longevity of paper and inks, size of paper, decisions of hard cover or soft cover. An electronic story or book may be available to you forever.
Can everything be EPublished?
No, books with popup figures, with things that need to be touched or smelled cannot be EPublished. Most everything else can.
Is EPublishing here to stay?
Yes, because limits have not yet been established for EPublishing.
I wrote a book, should I book publish or EPublish?
Both, don't let the book publisher take all of your publishing rights. Give away only the rights required to publish for that specific media.
Are all EPublishers the same?
No, EPublishers are different, it's a case of author beware. Never send your manuscript to an EPublisher unless you have reason to trust the company. That said, EPublishers may specialize in fiction or fairy tale, sports or travel. Find out what they specialize in first. Then, how they treat their authors.
Are book publishers good EPublishers?
Probably not, EPublishing is not their primary focus. Book publishing is their primary focus.
How do I select a reputable EPublisher?
You have to do your research, read their mission statements. Review any negative publicity and correspond with their published authors. Proper compensation is only one factor, how are authors treated, has it been a pleasant experience.
